The Organization

Community International Academies, Inc. (CIA) is a school development and management non-profit organization created by Colorado's leading residential developers. Its goal is to create schools that ignite an entrepreneurial spirit in students and connect them to their community, nation, and to the world.  Schools will be placed at the centers of their community and reconnect residents to their neighborhood school. Schools created and managed by CIA will be located in Aurora, Colorado and will share a common mission, vision, and core beliefs.

Academy Vision

The vision of Community International Academies, Inc. is to create a network of schools from early childhood to high school with an international theme that prepares students to thrive in an inter-connected global community.    All students are expected to reach their academic and leadership potential. All students will have opportunities for international exchanges with students and faculty from around the world through virtual and international travel experiences.  

Academy Mission

Community International Academies, Inc. mission is to create a network of high performing college preparatory schools that prepares a diverse student body to be active leaders in an inter-connected global community through intensive second language development, experiential and hands on learning, and virtual and international travel.

Core Beliefs

The Academies are guided by four core beliefs:

  1. Students should be challenged at all grade levels by an academically rigorous curriculum that reflects an international perspective

  2. Strong relationships with adults support student academic and personal development

  3. Experiences with peers across the nation and the world are key to becoming a leader in an international community

  4. Students must be proficient in a second language in order to participate in an international community
